Procter & Gamble, the Consumer product corporation and the biggest advertisers in the world, has an ongoing desire to be more efficient and innovative in their digital marketing activities. To keep their leading position they asked the help of tech-startups. They did this by organizing a pitch competition, the P&G Start-Up Hatch at Dmexco, the largest digital marketing event in Europe. We reached the ‘Shark Tank’ look-a-like final of the competition together with the companies Opinary, Baqendcom & InsiderNavigation.

StoryTEQ managed to be selected out of 150 participants for the semi-finals during the first day of Dmexco. Out of the 20 semi-finalists pitches, only four were selected to compete in the grand final for €20.000 price money in front of a critical jury consisting of, among others, Sophie Blum – Vice-president marketing at P&G.

Rogier Ros, sales manager and representative from StoryTEQ, after the final: “Although we did not win the final, being able to pitch in front of an audience like this and an impressive jury during the biggest marketing event in Europe is a huge reward itself. Making it to the last four out of 150 start-ups attending such an event, tells us people share our vision and believe in us as a company and the choices we make.”
