As one of the most recognizable brands in sports entertainment, FanDuel faces constant pressure to release large volumes of fresh, highly dynamic campaign content. In 2024 alone, the creative services team produced 92,000 assets manually, an enormous workload that relied on around eight full-time designers. Much of this work repeated the same steps for every recurring campaign. Designers rebuilt similar assets from scratch, adapted formats manually, and spent hours versioning variations. A single major campaign could take up to two months to complete, stretching resources and slowing speed-to-market for a brand that needs to move fast. FanDuel needed a new way of working, one that eliminated repetitive production and reduced reliance on manual design effort.Solution
Storyteq partnered with FanDuel to automate their creative workflows and streamline campaign delivery across teams. It all began with FanDuel’s central creative team, who collaborated with Storyteq to develop dynamic templates for key campaign assets. Once validated, these templates became the foundation for all future work, allowing the team to adapt formats, visuals, and messaging instantly instead of rebuilding from scratch. The rollout continued, giving broader teams an easy, intuitive way to access approved templates and create market-ready assets in just a few clicks. Built in review flows ensured every piece of content was checked and approved centrally, maintaining brand integrity even as production scaled.

Campaign turnaround time, once measured in months, is now measured in minutes. Campaigns that previously took up to two months to produce can now be launched almost instantly, enabling faster responses to market opportunities and more frequent campaign rollouts.
To date, more than 7,500 assets have been created through the Storyteq platform without direct support from the creative or production team, saving an estimated 73 working days of internal production time. As a result, eight designers who were previously tied up in repetitive versioning and manual production are now free to focus on higher-value creative work, raising both the quality and impact of FanDuel’s output.
Automated templates and workflows have eliminated duplication, strengthened brand consistency, and made collaboration across teams significantly more efficient. At the same time, the shift away from manual and outsourced production has delivered an estimated $152k saved on external production costs demonstrating clear financial value alongside operational gains.
